Schoolnet is partnering with GUVI to extend the reach of coding skills to students who subscribe to Geneo

Schoolnet India Limited, a leading EdTech service provider, has partnered with vernacular coding platform GUVI to impart coding skills to all students who register on its flagship product Geneo.

The MoU between Schoolnet and GUVI was signed in the presence of Arun Prakash M, CEO and Co-Founder of GUVI, Balamurugan SP, Co-Founder of GUVI, Praveen Kumar, Head of Growth at GUVI, and Schoolnet’s Chief Digital Officer , Shourie Chatterjee .

GUVI is an IIT-M & IIM-A incubated EdTech startup imparting advanced technology education and programming skills to students and professionals in their favorite mother tongues. The platform has touched the lives of more than 17 million students. HackerKID, GUVI’s specially curated gamified coding platform for kids, adopts unique pedagogies to provide basic knowledge of cutting-edge technologies to children in grades 6 and up. It offers challenging game levels wrapped in different levels of programming concepts.

The Schoolnet-GUVI collaboration will open the door to advanced technology and reading programming education to all Schoolnet students, according to a press release.

Noida-based Schoolnet sees the collaboration as a significant step towards a better technological future. Schoolnet believes in harnessing technology and using it to democratize education, presenting lifelong learning opportunities for all. The partnership with GUVI is another effort that Schoolnet is undertaking in bringing quality digital learning within everyone’s reach. The collaboration would contribute to their efforts in offering the right technology to schools and teachers, the statement added.

With this collaboration, both GUVI and Schoolnet expect students to be future-ready with advanced programming knowledge and up-to-date with the latest technological upgrades.
